Le vendite totali di Ghostrunner hanno superato i 2,5 milioni di unità, hanno annunciato l’editore 505 Games e gli sviluppatori One More Level, 3D Realms, Slipgate Ironworks e All in! Games hanno annunciato.
Ghostrunner è stato lanciato per la prima volta per PlayStation 4, Xbox One e PC tramite Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG e Humble Store il 27 ottobre 2020, seguito da Switch il 10 novembre 2020 e da PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series il 28 settembre 2021.
Il sequel, Ghostrunner II, uscirà per PlayStation 5, Xbox Series e PC tramite Steam, Epic Games Store e GOG il 26 ottobre.
